Cabinet Honors to Padma Shree Awardee PhoolBasan Yadav and Shamshad Begum

Raipur 07 February 2012 – Latest Chhattisgarh Cabinet Meeting has historical event by honoring women Padma Awardees. Official ministers council popularly know in public as cabinet meeting at cabinet hall of ministry at Raipur unusual felicitation ceremony of two women social worker who received recent Padma Shree award on 26 January 2012 from New Delhi.

Padma Shree award selected Mrs Phoolbasan Bai Yadav and Mrs Shamshad Begum are the special guest in CG Cabinet of 7 Feb with chair Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh who himself felicitated both women social worker making the event historical.

Two Chhattisgarhi women contribute to Women's empowerment and literacy programs in best possible way which earned them Government of India Padma Shri Award. The prideful Chhattisgarh Government has come forward to felicitate both women social workers PhoolBasan Yadav and Shamshad Begum in official cabinet meet and such event is unique in administration scenario.

Mrs. PhoolBasan Yadav belongs to Sukul Daihan village of Rajnandgaon district while Mrs. Shamshad Begum is a resident of Gunderdehi in the newly formed Balod district.

Special nodal officers are appointed to escort both Padma Awardee women to cabinet meeting feliciation ceremony along with all other dignified travel arrangements.

General Administration Department Chhattisgarh State has sent an official letter to the collector of Rajnandgaon and Collector Balod District for due actions regarding above set arrangements.

The example of good work bringing laurels and rewards is a good citation for women and all people that ‘live and work for others’.
