Chief Minister handed over order to the Chhattisgarh Aviation Academy
Raipur, November 11, 2009 - Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, to launch domestic airline in the state, on behalf of CG Aviation Department, at his residence at Raipur tonight Order letter assigned duly to a private company Chhattisgarh Aviation Academy chief Captain Sifdhartha Shukla with various conditions.
Department of Revenue Minister Amar Agarwal and Chhattisgarh Aviation Secretary Shri R.S. Vishwakarma were also present at CG Air Service order handing over.
Chief Minister gave their greetings to CG Aviation Academy to operate air services within the Chhattisgarh State India.
Dr Raman Singh said Chhattisgarh State is country's first, who is going to start his own airline. India’s first state government operated airline is being started with Chhattisgarh company collaboration.
Chhattisgarh airline service would promote business and tourism industry in the state and people will be able to get quick medical facilities in need time.
Chhattisgarh airline is expected to be a life saving service.
In Manti Parishad meeting or state cabinet meeting under chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh in the Ministry held at Raipur in this month on 06 Nov 2009 it was decided to start domestic air services for and from Chhattisgarh by Chhattisgarh.
