Concession in the model election code of conduct

Sector Officer Suspended For Negligence In Election Work

Raipur, April 15, 2009 - District Election Officer and Collector, Bastar has suspended Sub Engineer, National Highways, Farasgaon, Shri Arvind Dewangan with immediate effect to exercise negligence in the election work. Mr. Dewangan was appointed Sector officer in the Massukokorha sector of parliamentary constituency number 09 Kanker. During suspension Period Mr Dewangan’s Headquarters has been set at Office of the executive engineer, National Highway Division, Jagdalpur. Vote Day 16 April 2009 is Public Holiday

Raipur, 04 April 2009 – Chhattisgarh State Government has declared a public holiday on 16 April 2009, which is voting day for Lok Sabha General Elections 2009 in entire Chhattisgarh. General Administration Department has issued a notification to this effect from the Ministry in Raipur.
