Raipur News Special - Raipur, 04 May 2009 - To curb Chhattisgarh power theft or electricity theft, a special campaign is going in the state as per directions of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh.

Chhattisgarh State Electricity Distribution Company officials today said at Raipur that in the last financial year 2008-09 in the state of 1590 power theft case were registered. In 1157 electricity theft cases first information report (FIR) recorded in various police stations while in 87 electricity theft cases punishment the orders were passed and in 90 cases decided through agreement.

रायपुर, 04 मई 2009 - बिजली चोरी पर अंकुश लगाने के लिए छत्तीसगढ़ के मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. रमन सिंह के निर्देश पर राज्य में विशेष अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य विद्युत वितरण कम्पनी के अधिकारियों ने आज यहां बताया कि पिछले वित्तीय वर्ष 2008-09 में प्रदेश में बिजली चोरी के एक हजार 590 प्रकरण दर्ज किए गए। इनमें से एक हजार 157 प्रकरणों में विभिन्न पुलिस थानों में प्रथम सूचना रिपोर्ट (एफ.आई.आर.) दर्ज की गई जबकि 87 मामलों में दण्ड आदेश पारित हुए और 90 प्रकरणों का निराकरण समझौते के जरिए किया गया।
