Raipur, 01 May 2009 – The Chhattisgarh state service preliminary examination 2008 results have been announced by Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CG PSC) here at Raipur today.

According to the results announced by the Commission, 7609 candidates have been identified provisionally for the various categories and cadres to participate in the main examination. Provisionally 1,883 women and 5,726 men will be admitted in main examination. The date of main examination will be announced separately by the commission.

It is to be noted the Commission has issued advertisement on September 22, 2008 to receive applications for recruiting in 324 posts in 14 services through Chhattisgarh State Service examination 2008. The Commission re-issued advertisement on 22 April 2009, increasing the number by 142 posts on the basis of revised letters of demand sent by various departments of the state government according to conditions mentioned in ad published earlier. Thus, for a total of 466 posts in 16 different services are to be selected through the State Services Examination 2008.

For entering in the State Services Preliminary Examination a total of One lac 50 thousand and 460 candidates admission card was issued by the Commission, which included one lac 5 thousand and 394 men and 45 thousand and 66 women candidates. The Chhattisgarh state service preliminary examination was held on 01 February 2009, at total 406 test centers in the state, in which one lakh 28 thousand 152 candidates attended.

After examination, the commission invited objections within 15 day on model answers issued on 05 February. Micro scrutiny was made on objections received by committees of experts and after assessment and applying needed amendment, the answer books were checked.

The candidates provisionally identified for State Services Main Examination will be informed through a letter and application form will be sent by the commission. The said applications are to be sent to the commission after filling by the related candidates and attaching attested photocopies of full educational qualification, caste certificate, residence certificate and other necessary certificates. The above said applications will be scrutinized by the commission and admission cards will be issued to candidates for the main examination.

रायपुर, 01 मई 2009 - छत्तीसगढ़ लोक सेवा आयोग द्वारा आज यहां राज्य सेवा प्रारंभिक परीक्षा 2008 का परिणाम घोषित कर दिया गया है। परीक्षा के परिणाम आयोग की वेबसाईट www.psc.cg.gov.in पर भी उपलब्ध है। आयोग द्वारा घोषित परिणाम के अनुसार विभिन्न श्रेणियों एवं प्रवर्गों में 7609 अभ्यर्थियों को प्रावधिक रूप से मुख्य परीक्षा में भाग लेने हेतु चिन्हित किया गया है। मुख्य परीक्षा में प्रावधिक रूप से 5726 पुरूष तथा 1883 महिलाएं शामिल हो सकेंगी। आयोग द्वारा मुख्य परीक्षा की तिथि अलग से घोषित की जाएगी।

उल्लेखनीय है कि राज्य सेवा परीक्षा 2008 हेतु आयोग द्वारा 14 सेवाओं हेतु 324 पदों में भर्ती हेतु आवेदन प्राप्त करने के लिए दिनांक 22 सितम्बर 2008 को विज्ञापन जारी किया गया था। राज्य शासन के विभिन्न विभागों द्वारा प्रेषित संशोधित मांग पत्रों के आधार पर पूर्व प्रसारित विज्ञापन में उल्लेखित शर्तों के तहत आयोग द्वारा पुन: 22 अप्रैल 2009 को जारी विज्ञापन के अनुसार 142 पदों की वृध्दि की गई थी। इस प्रकार राज्य सेवा परीक्षा 2008 के माध्यम से 16 विभिन्न सेवाओं के लिए कुल 466 पदों हेतु चयन किया जाना है।

आयोग द्वारा राज्य सेवा प्रारंभिक परीक्षा में शामिल होने हेतु कुल एक लाख 50 हजार 460 अभ्यर्थियों को प्रवेश पत्र जारी किया गया था, जिनमें एक लाख 5 हजार 394 पुरूष एवं 45 हजार 66 महिला अभ्यर्थी थे। 01 फरवरी 2009 को राज्य सेवा प्रारंभिक परीक्षा छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य के कुल 406 परीक्षा केन्द्रों में आयोजित की गई, जिसमें एक लाख 28 हजार 152 अभ्यर्थी शामिल हुए।

परीक्षा उपरान्त आयोग द्वारा 05 फरवरी को मॉडल उत्तर जारी कर 15 दिवस के अन्दर आपत्तियां आमंत्रित की गई। प्राप्त आपत्तियों का विशेषज्ञों की समितियों द्वारा सूक्ष्म परीक्षण किया गया एवं परीक्षण उपरान्त आवश्यकतानुसार संशोधन कर उत्तर पुस्तिकाओं की जांच की गई।

राज्य सेवा मुख्य परीक्षा हेतु प्रावधिक रूप से चिन्हांकित अभ्यर्थियों को आयोग से पत्र के माध्यम से सूचित किया जाएगा एवं आवेदन पत्र भेजे जाएंगे। उक्त आवेदन पत्रों को संबंधित अभ्यर्थियों द्वारा भरकर तथा शैक्षणिक अर्हता, जाति प्रमाण पत्र, निवास प्रमाण पत्र सहित अन्य आवश्यक प्रमाण पत्रों की प्रमाणित छायाप्रतियां संलग्न कर आयोग को प्रेषित किया जाएगा। आयोग द्वारा उक्त आवेदन पत्रों की संवीक्षा की जाएगी तथा अभ्यर्थियों को मुख्य परीक्षा हेतु प्रवेश पत्र जारी किया जाएगा।
