Beverages corporation big cheques  2010 and 2011 photos for CM Relief Fund

Contribution of INR 2 Crores to Chief Minister's Relief Fund – The Chhattisgrh State Beverages Corporation Limited earns dividend and out of the liquor business profit contribute to CM Relief money pool. The current year 2011 contribution is whooping INR 20 Million to the top charitable monitory resource handled by Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh himself.

Mukhya Mantri Sahayata Kosh got INR 1.2 Crore cheque donation last year 2010 derived from the foreign liquor business handled by beverages corporation.

Quoted from the official website www . csbc.cg.gov . in In Chhattisgarh the Corporation was set up with a view to bringing an end to monopoly of private sector in foreign liquor trade and to providing quality liquor and to bringing revenue to the government. With these objectives the Chhattisgrh State Beverages Corporation Ltd. was set up on 29-11-2001.

The Corporation started its wholesale business in foreign liquor from January, 2002. The Corporation collects the foreign liquor in its Raipur, Bilaslpur Godown after purchasing it from the foreign liquor manufactures/suppliers and sells it to the retailers after getting issue price. Before handing it over, the Corporation also collects T.C.S. and deposits it to the income tax head.
