Raipur, 06 November 2009 Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh has expressed deep sorrow at the sudden demise of India’s senior journalist Mr. Prabhash Joshi.

Dr Raman Singh said in a condolence message issued here at Raipur today that Mr Joshi filled with rich human emotions was a fair and fearless journalist, a serious critical thinker, and scholar writer.

Shri Prabhash Joshi did remarkable public awareness work through Hindi journalism with his sharp vision and experienced writing on country and world's contemporary socio-economic problems.

Recalling the years old intimate relations with him, CG Chief Minister said Mr. Joshi has extremely emotional bond with people and life of Chhattisgarh.

Dr Raman Singh said that with the sudden demise of Mr. Joshi Prbhash golden chapter has come to an end in Indian journalism and particularly in Hindi journalism.

Late Prabhash Joshi continuously gave their services to the national language Hindi, Rashtra Bhasha Hindi for almost half a century through journalism and writing medium. In the field of journalism, Indian society and literature, his contributions will always be remembered.

Dr. Raman Singh expressed their deep condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family members of Late Shri Prabhas Joshi and have prayed to God for peace of the departed soul.
