Raipur, June 24, 2009 - Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh here tonight at the Jagannath temple in the Raipur city Gayatri Nagar, on the occasion of Rath Yatra worshipped asking for blessings of God Jagannath for rains in Chhattisgarh and across the country. The Chief Minister welcomed Lord Jagannath in his Mausi's (aunt's) house and worship them with the goddess Subhadra and Balbhadraji with family. Shri Purander Mishra, including a large number of devotees were present.

रायपुर, 24 जून 2009 - मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. रमन सिंह आज रात यहां गायत्री नगर स्थित जगन्नाथ मंदिर में रथयात्रा के अवसर पर भगवान की पूजा-अर्चना करते हुए छत्तीसगढ़ सहित देश भर में अच्छी बारिश के लिए उनसे आशीर्वाद मांगा। मुख्यमंत्री ने भगवान जगन्नाथ की मौसी के घर में उनका स्वागत किया और उनकी तथा देवी सुभद्रा और बलभद्रजी की पूजा में भी सपरिवार शामिल हुए। इस अवसर पर श्री पुरन्दर मिश्रा सहित बड़ी संख्या में श्रध्दालुजन उपस्थित थे।
