Raipur, May 11, 2009 - Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Dr. Raman Singh responded sharply with harsh condemnation of today’s Naxalite mine explosion near Risgaon in Sihava police station area Dhamtari district which is just 90 km from Raipur and the incident area some 100 km from Dhamtari.

Dr. Raman Singh, expressed, with his tribute to martyr police men, deep condolences and sympathy to their bereaved family and wished early recovery of injured soldiers in the explosion. Our brave police soldiers have devoted their lives performing the duties. Their martyrdom will not go in vain. The Chief Minister said that the mine explosion incident is a disgusting example of cowardice mentality of the Naxalites (maoist). All people who keep faith in democracy and human rights should condemn this tragedy with one voice.

रायपुर, 11 मई 2009 - छत्तीसगढ़ के मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. रमन सिंह ने आज राज्य के धमतरी जिले में सिहावा थाना क्षेत्र के अन्तर्गत रिसगांव के नजदीक नक्सलवादियों द्वारा किए गए बारूदी सुरंग विस्फोट पर तीखी प्रतिक्रिया व्यक्त करते हुए घटना की तीव्र निन्दा की है।

डॉ. सिंह ने विस्फोट में शहीद पुलिस जवानों के प्रति अपनी श्रध्दांजलि के साथ उनके शोक संतप्त परिवारजनों के प्रति गहरी संवेदना और सहानुभूति प्रकट करते हुए घायल जवानों के जल्द स्वास्थ लाभ की कामना की है। हमारे बहादुर पुलिस जवानों ने अपने कर्तव्यों का पालन करते हुए प्राणों की आहुति दी है। उनकी यह शहादत व्यर्थ नहीं जाएगी। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा है कि बारूदी सुरंग विस्फोट की यह घटना नक्सलियों की कायरतापूर्ण मानसिकता का एक घिनौना उदाहरण है। लोकतंत्र और मानवाधिकारों में आस्था रखने वाले सभी लोगों को इस घटना की एक स्वर से निन्दा करनी चाहिए।
