Millennium Development Goals Center inauguration by Chief Minister

India's first MDG center in collaboration with UNICEF began in Chhattisgarh

Raipur, November 11, 2009 - Chhattisgarh has become the first Indian state of to set up Special Center (Hub) in India to achieve Millennium Development Goals in India for the forthcoming year 2015 in collaboration with UNICEF, the partner agency of the United Nations.

Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, at the function held at Raipur Hotel Babylon this morning, inaugurated Millennium Development Goals Launching Hub. He said all the eight points of MDG are targeted for upliftment of the last person of society that is Antodaya and feelings of “Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam” model.
