Governor of state Chhattisgarh Mr Shekhar Dutt extended his warmest congratulations and best wishes to Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh, Health and Family Welfare Minister Amar Agarwal, all officers of the Department , including employees and All citizens of the state to get first place in the country for implementation of national health insurance plan for poor run by Chhattisgarh state.

In greeting message Gov. Shekhar Dutt said, individual medical insurance for poor gets first rank in nation, is a matter of pride for Chhattisgarh state. Achievement in insurance health sector expansion and insurance development is possible due to efficient health management of state government, people - cooperation in insurance and sustained efforts of officers and staff for insurance realization.

Gov Dutt expressed hope that cooperation of all health facilities including people oriented insurance for poor in the state will continue to expand and develop.

India Union Ministry of Labour and Employment held two-day national workshop for India insurance in Chandigarh recently in which the successful implementation of insurance plan by Chhattisgarh as the nodal agency was awarded first prize.
