Chief Minister says "The civil service is better medium to serve society"
Indian Administrative Service trainee officers met the chief minister
Raipur, July 16, 2009 - Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh raised some inportent points to Indian Administrative Service officers trainee during a meeting in ministry at Raipur. Chhattisgarh CM said "Follow their duties with complete dedication and honesty assuming the civil service a better medium of social service". He further added they should take full note sensitivity, fairness, transparency and mobility in the administration.
The year 2008 batch Indian Administrative Service Chhattisgarh cadre of trainee officers of Messrs Nikhil Gajraj, Bilaspur, Neeraj Kumar Bansod, Durg, Rajesh Singh Rana, Raipur, Bhimsinh, Surguja and Ms. Shikha Rajput, Rajnandgaon met the chief minister along with Chhattisgarh Administration Academy director Mr. Chandrahas Behar. The Chief Minister greeted the IAS trainee officers for a bright future.
Dr Raman Singh said that Chhattisgarh state is full of boundless possibilities of development. On one hand, there are plentiful natural resources while on the other hand, it is included in the states with most poor population.
To improve the quality of life for the poor is an important challenge for us. He said that implementation of various public - friendly plans is an important responsibility with the administrative officers of state government. After the training, the trainee officers when posted in the area, these things to be taken care of and through public - friendly plans try to do all possible help to the poorest people in the last line of society.
