Chhattisgarh Chief Minister has expressed grief over the death of Mrs. Shobha Subramaniam
Raipur, November 10, 2009 - Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh has expressed deep grief at the sudden demise of Mrs. Shobha Subramaniam, Member Secretary of State Planning Board and an IFS Indian Forest Service Officer.
The secretary to Chief Minister Mr K. Subramaniam's wife, Mrs Shobha Subramaniam, died in Ambedkar hospital, Mekahara Raipur tonight on 10 Nov 2009.
Shortly before her death, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, himself arrived in the ICU of Mekahara Raipur to see her health condition. Chief Minister's wife, Mrs Veena Singh also reached there to see Mrs. Subramaniam.
Dr Singh and Mrs Veena Singh returned from the hospital with wishing her good health, but despite doctors' tireless efforts Mrs. Subramaniam could not be saved.
The Chief Minister expressed grief over his death, said that Mrs. Subramaniam was duty bound, very diligent and competent officer.
Senior officials of the Indian Forest Service Cadre late Mrs. Subramaniam at the Member Secretary of State Planning Board gave its vital services to the state government.
Dr Raman Singh express their deep condolences and sympathy for bereaved family of late Mrs. Shobha Subramaniam have prayed to God for peace of departed souls.
