Raipur, Mahasamund India has implemented noise monitoring measures during examinations. Dist Mahasamund Chhattisgarh state India has banned the use of Sound Amplifiers Equipments from 1 March 2011 to 31 May 2011 which covers all school board and university exams.
Chhattisgarh University Exams and Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education, CGBSE Exams are being conducted during the sound ban period in India and the local government district head collectors are powered to impose Noise Monitoring restriction and prohibition on Babel sound in public interest. Special sound amplification are allowed only by a competent authority designated.
Collector Mahasamund has imposed the Noise Monitoring ban rather restrictive use of high volume sound producing systems & equipments keeping in mind the public interest.
Collector Mrs. Ms. Alarmelmangai D has banned the use of sound amplifier equipments under Madhya Pradesh Kolahal Adhiniyam aka MP Babel Act, 1985 under Rule 10 in Mahasamund district.
Under the Noise Monitoring high sound ban period March 1st to May 31st, 2011 Dhwani Vistarak Yantra Prayoh, Use of sound amplifiers equipment will be allowed by the sub divisional magistrate concerned.
The high volume Noise Monitoring sound ban under Babel MP Act, 1985 section 5 is applicable within a radius of 200 meters until further orders for government offices in the tehsil and block headquarters of the district, educational institutions, hospitals and banks.
The Mahasamund Babel sound ban along with Noise Monitoring is boon to the students appearing in exams 2011. The Noise Monitoring news has no details about noise assessment, noise survey or noise measurements in noise at work.
