Amit Kataria is very well known for illegal occupation to evacuate or Awaidh Kabja of Raipur. The very famous case of Raipur Railway Station front clearance goes to his credit.

The farewell ceremony of former Raipur Municipal Corporation Amit Kataria and welcome ceremony of newly appointed Omprakash Chaudhary for Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner on Sunday.

Kataria was transferred from the post due to political reasons and appointment of Omprakash Chaudhary, another IAS officer, is also being considered political reasons. The felicitation program was organized by Raipur Municipal Corporation Employees Union.

The officials employees of Raipur Municipal Corporation has a major inquisitiveness on the issue about the behaviour of the officials on dais. Amit Kataria further said that in every organization, there are 20 percent people who are good workers and 20 percent who are willful. Rest 60 percent if guided under good leadership.
