Raipur AIIMS in Making

All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) will become functional in Raipur Chhattisgarh in the next 18 months. The Institute of Medical College, Raipur, hostel and hospitals premises would be developed at the cost of Rs. 329 Crore. According to AIIMS project, 960 beds with super specialty facilities would be able for public of Raipur Chhattisgarh

India Government gave green signal to the project on the initiative by Chief Minister Chhattisgarh Dr. Raman Singh. The AIIMS is proposed to be established a old TB hospital in Tatibandh Raipur. The tender for the project has already been floated. The official of Heath Department informed that AIIMS would be developed in two phases. =

In the first phase college and hostel complex will be developed at cost of Rs. 123 Crores in two year.

In second phase super specialty hospital complex would be developed at the cost of Rs. 206 crores in two years. Under Prime Minister Health Securities Project AIIMS would be developed in 6 cities including Raipur.

The other cities are Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna and Krishikesh. This would enable better medical facility to the people.
