Chhattisgarh Governor Shri ESL Narsimhan and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh would dedicate Cardiac Cath Lab Facility in the Raipur First Government Hospital aka Sarkari Aspatal Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Hospital or Mecahara.

Chhattisgarh Health Minister Shri Amar Agrawal, Chhattisgarh Tourism and Culture Minister Shri Brijmohan Agrawal, Chhattisgarh Development Minister Shri Rajesh Munat, Raipur MP Ramesh Bais and Raipur Mayor Sunil Soni are the special guests.

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Hospital is of 700 beds and the biggest government hospital of Raipur and Chhattisgarh, For the past many years, need of the two facilities were being felt in Government Hospital aka Sarkari Aspatal Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Hospital or Mecahara, Raipur.

Mainly due to the special initiative taken by Chief Minister Chhattisgarh Dr. Raman Singh and continuous efforts by Chhattisgarh Health Minister Amar Agrawal in this direction.

The two facilites would make Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Hospital first Government Hospital in Raipur with these facilites for heart and Kidney disease treatments. With The Cath lab, the heart patients would receive the benefit much less expensive now. Such patients till date had to go for services either to the private hospitals of the Chhattisgarh, or Outside. Now with the lab, every facility is available in the First Government Hospital Mecahara Raipur. Both Angiography and angioplasty would be done in the Mecahara Raipur. Likewise, the hemodialysis unit would benefit the kidney patients.
