Chhattisgarh Government has started two new schemes “Swawlamban” and “Saksham” for Chhattisgarh women including widows, divorcees, unmarried in the age group of 35-45. Swawlamban and Saksham has mission of making women beneficiaries self reliant.

Women and Child Welfare Minister Lata Usendi ordered field officers of all Chhattisgarh district for publicity of Swawlamban and Saksham Scheme.

In Saksham Scheme women can take loan of 1 lakh at interest rate of 6.5 percent payable in 5 years. In Swawlamban, women will get training of beautician, computer typing, short hand, tally accounting, stitching-embroidery and other courses without any cost.
