Saraswati Vandana

Saraswati is a goddess of Education Knowledge Music and Art. Today is Saraswati Puja at 20 January 2010. In every school of all over India Students and Teachers come in Yellow Dress with a flower and worship the Goddess Saraswati or doing Saraswati Puja.

After doing Saraswati Puja, they sing a Saraswati Vandana in Hindi.

माँ सरस्वती उपकार कर,
मेरे कंठ में भर ज्ञान स्वर ।
हर ओर फैला तमघटे,
नव प्रात सा जीवन बने
